Carrying a firearm is more than just knowing how to shoot. It is about safety, responsibility, sound judgment, and understanding the law.

At Flatline Firearms Training, our Illinois Concealed Carry Course goes beyond basic marksmanship. We focus on developing safe, responsible, and knowledgeable firearm owners who understand the serious responsibilities that come with carrying a concealed firearm in public.

Our training emphasizes firearm safety, proper handling, situational awareness, conflict avoidance, de-escalation, and responsible decision-making. Students will gain an understanding of Illinois concealed carry laws, including where firearms may legally be carried, prohibited locations, transportation requirements, and the legal considerations surrounding the use of deadly force.

We believe that knowing when not to use your firearm is just as important as knowing how to use it. Our goal is to provide students with the knowledge, confidence, and mindset necessary to make responsible decisions before, during, and after a potentially dangerous encounter.
